Hide Months columns-inlcude in YTD total

Using SSRS 2005- I have a matrix with column groups for each month and a year to date subtotal. My users would like to only see the current month data and the year to date total and have the option to display the prior month details. Any ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
